William J. Quink, Jr. passed away on March 6, 2025, with his friends by his side, after a short illness. Born on September 9, 1962, in the U.S. Army Hospital, Zam Kanag Awa Ken, Japan. Billy grew up in Ware, attended St. Mary’s School, and graduated from Ware High School in 1980. Billy retired as a Hampden County Sheriff’s Department supervisor in 2018. Billy had a passion for sports and the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling and was an avid NASCAR fan. Some of his most cherished memories were made at his camp in New Hampshire. Billy was predeceased by his parents, William Quink, Sr., and Toshiko (Inoue) Quink. He is survived by his brother Anthony Quink, two nephews, and many loving friends. A graveside memorial service will be held for Billy on Friday, March 14, 2025, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, South St., Ware, MA at 11:00 AM. All are welcome to attend.
