Witold Misiaszek Obituary


West Warren -  Witold Misiaszek, age 79 passed away on October 5, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.  He was born in Medrzechow, Poland to the late Jan Misiaszek and Anna (Szarkowska) Misiaszek.  Witold was the second of four children and he was pre-deceased by his brothers Andrew and Adam Misiaszek. He emigrated to the United States of America in 1965 settling in West Warren.  Witold was schooled in mechanical engineering, and received an Associates Degree.  He was employed as a design engineer for Carlin Combustion, prior to retirement. Witold was a devout Roman Catholic, he practiced his faith daily, reciting the Holy Rosary, and serving God as an Adult Altar Server, for morning masses and funeral masses.  Witold loved his family and his God and the church.  In his own words "I was born, lived and died".  Witold leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Sally Anne (Korzec) Misiaszek of West Warren, his daughter, Kathy Misiaszek, Anne Marie Conrad and her husband Michael and grandchildren; Nadia Rose and Philip Conrad of West Warren, sons Andrew and Matthew Misiaszek, daughters, Teresa Misiaszek and Maria Revel and her husband Thomas and children; Francois, Alois and Basile Revel of Bourdeaux, France.  Witold also leaves behind his sister, Kamila Wnuk and her husband Stanislaw, his godchild, Joanna Deszcz and her husband Adam of Illinois, and her children, Ewalina, Natalia and Jakub.  He also leaves behind his nephews; Artur and wife Rene and their children, Jack and Lucy Wnuk, nephew Gregory and his wife, Lisa Wnuk.  A Funeral Mass for Witold will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 10 AM in St. Mary's Church, 57 South St., Ware.  Everyone will meet directly in the church on Saturday morning.  Witold will be laid to rest in the St. Adalbert Section of St. Mary's Cemetery following the funeral mass. There are no calling hours.  Funeral Services are under the direction of the Koziol Family of Cebula Funeral Home, Ware.
