Our beloved Zachary Lee Bassett tragically left us on May 19, 2024 as a
result of a motorcycle accident.
Zachary was born on August 8, 1994 in Springfield to David and Gail Bassett.
He was a beloved son, brother, father and friend to many.
Zachary attended Pathfinder Regional High School and worked as a
Machine Helper at Kanzaki Specialty Papers, Inc. He had a passion for
hunting, fishing, motorcycles, for sense of humor (by always trying to make
others laugh), giving the best-in-class bear hugs, (Zach-attack)
Zachary was predeceased by his maternal Grandfather, Merlon Bassett,
and Grandmother Beatrice Bassett and his uncle, Richard Mailloux. He
leaves behind a loving family: his parents, David (pops) and Gail (momma)
Bassett; his brother Tyler Hoime, his daughter, Rayah Bassett, his
grandmother Mary Louise Mailloux, grandfather Regeant Mailloux and his
wife Dawn Larder, niece Alexandria Hoime, nephew Owen Hoime,
godparents Robert and Susan Dzuiba along with many aunts, uncles,
cousins and friends, who will remember his fun-loving spirit and warm
heart.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 28, 2024 at Cebula Funeral
Home, Inc. at 66 South Street Ware, Ma. Visitation will take place on
Tuesday May 28, 2024 at Cebula Funeral Home, Inc. In lieu of flowers,
donations can be made to a cause close to your heart.
Zachary will be dearly missed for his adventurous spirit which will live on in
the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by all who
knew and loved him but never forgotten.
